Delano Bay Christian Camp

A Resource for Christian Growth:

Delano Bay Christian Camp is a beautiful center for Christian activity located on the Puget Sound, about a one hour drive from Tacoma. A Lodge/Dining Hall and two hillside lodges can sleep a total of 96 people, plus seaside cabins and RV parking make DBCC a highly functional and attractive location for many enjoyable Christ-centered programs and activities. This magnificent God-given facility is a valuable multi-use tool for the spiritual growth of our youth, families and congregations.  

A Christian Youth Camp:

In the summer, the sights and sounds of young people enjoying Delano Bay Christian Youth Camps tell a wonderful story. A dining hall full of exuberant youngster at mealtime; Bible classes on a grassy hillside, under trees and on cabin porches; one-on-one session between campers and counselors; fierce competition n a game of capture the flag; the blending of voices in praise around a campfire; the serenity of watching the rising moon reflected in the bay. These are among the ingredients which give the camp its life-enriching impact on youth.

A Family Hide-Away:

It’s a marvelous place for the family to get away from much of the pressure of life. A place to soak up a bit of serenity and enjoy the peace and quiet of God’s beautiful Northwest. The cabins are available through participating churches for $50 a night. They are not fancy, but each one has a small bathroom, refrigerator and stove. You may wll be able to hear the bay lapping at the seawall under your porch. These cabins are available when youth camp sessions and other major functions are not underway.

A Retreat Center:

Congregational retreats, youth rallies, men’s retreats, women’s retreats, and family encampments are but a few of the types of programs for which DBCC is a perfect site. These activities give opportunity for participation in outstanding programs led by some of the very capable leaders in your fellowship. The camp is fully winterized and is accessible year round.
