We are Jess and Theresa Aldred, and we are honored to serve as the Caretakers of Delano Bay Christian Camp.

We moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2021 when Jess received orders to serve on a submarine at Naval Base Kitsap Bangor. Jess is an active-duty Navy member with a strong background in landscaping and hands-on property care. Theresa works privately with multiple clients in executive-level administration and serves as a Team Lead supporting C-level leaders. Together, we are grateful to offer both practical onsite care and strong organizational and administrative support to the camp.

We are native Texans, and all three of our children were born in Texas. Our family includes our oldest son, Joshua; our daughter, Ellie, who is married to Lars; together they have our granddaughter, Emi, and are expecting another baby; and our youngest son, Jonah.

Both of us grew up in the Church of Christ. We met in 1997 when Theresa’s father was hired as the minister at the church Jess’s family attended in Fort Worth, Texas. Our shared faith and commitment to service have shaped our family and our desire to steward places that bring people closer to God and to one another.

We have been serving as the Caretakers of Delano Bay Christian Camp since December 1st, 2023, and feel deeply blessed to care for this special place and the community it serves.
