We are Jess and Theresa Aldred, and we are honored to serve as the Caretakers of Delano Bay Christian Camp

We moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2021 when Jess received orders to serve aboard a submarine at Naval Base Kitsap Bangor. Jess is an active-duty Navy member with a strong background in landscaping and hands-on property care. Theresa works in executive administration and operations and manages the camp's administrative and operational needs. Together, we are grateful to provide both practical onsite care and strong organizational support to Delano Bay.

We are native Texans, and all three of our children were born in Texas. Our family includes our oldest son, Joshua; our daughter, Ellie, and her husband, Lars; their children, Emi and Terry, who is nearly six months old; and our youngest son, Jonah.

We both grew up in the Church of Christ. We met in 1997 when Theresa’s father became the minister at the church Jess’s family attended in Fort Worth, Texas. Our shared faith and commitment to service have shaped our family and our desire to steward places that bring people closer to God and to one another.

We have served as the Caretakers of Delano Bay Christian Camp since December 1, 2023, and feel deeply blessed to care for this special place and the community it serves.
